Avoid banana peels!

Mrs. Slippery fell in a supermarket after slipping on a banana peel that was on the floor of the fruit and vegetable section.

She therefore decided to consult a lawyer with expertise in liability law.

The lawyer advised him to have an expert appointed and then to sue the company for liability and compensation.

To remember:

The operator of a shop where the entrance is free can only be held liable to the victim of a fall in this shop caused by an inert object if the latter proves that this object, placed in an abnormal position or in poor condition, caused the damage.

The operating company has a duty of care towards consumers.

Mrs. Slipper can therefore be compensated if she can prove that the banana peel was wrongly on the floor and should have been removed to avoid a fall.

If you are the victim of a fall in a shop, it is important to be accompanied by a lawyer who will be able to guide you and advise you in the context of a claim for damages.

Cécile ZAKINE will guide you to avoid banana peels!
